.NAMI Ohio has been working with the other members of the Coalition for Healthy Communities to develop a new Web-based advocacy tool called The Advocator. Through this new technology, advocates can learn the status of the budget bill (and other important state and federal legislation) and the action steps needed to make our voices heard. The Advocator assists advocates by making it much easier to communicate with legislators via emails, letters, faxes or by phone calls. This new technology also allows you to receive automatic updates every time there is an important issue needing the attention of the Coalition for Healthy Communities’ Grassroots Coordinators.
